A note about regigate version numbers

In January 2017 we technically split the regigate product completely from the regify provider. But, as the regigate appliance is still based on the same core software than the regify provider appliance, the regigate versions are still mostly the same than the corresponding regify provider versions.

As the new regigate deployment started in January 2017, the initial version for this list was V4.0.9 (bottom of this page).

Update 24. May 2019 V5.0.6

Patch release announcement

  • New: The appliance is checking provider connection certificates expiration date and sends email to admin in case it runs out soon.
  • New: Self signed TLS certificates, used by Postfix for Opportunistic TLS, will become renewed automatically, if they run out.
  • Internal: Updated appliance with current CentOS patches (systemd, json-c)
  • Fix: Re-added tinker panic 0 for better time synchronization on several virtual backends.
  • Fix: Fixed issues while removing routes in case the route was not successfully created before.

Update 17. December 2018 V5.0.3

  • New: Changed the content type of generated messages to "multipart/mixed" for better compatibility with MS Outlook.
  • Fix: Mime header manipulation using "tags" is only done if the message was successfully processed (encrypt/decrypt).
  • Fix: Comparison with "field": "attName" was not working reliable if a previous rule was used to recognize the mime type before.

    • Allows to modify headers (like adding words to subject).
    • Allows to add new headers (like processing and information headers).
  • New: Ensure filename extension .ics in case of text/calendar mime-typed attachments during encryption.

  • New: Enhanced documentation regarding per recipient handling.
  • Fix: Removed a small memory leak bug.
  • Fix: Added capability to handle MIME messages with no body (adding empty body to resulting regify message).
  • Fix: Removed useless error message during Postfix restart if Postfix was already stopped before.
