Troubleshoot
Currently, iOS 13 and iOS 13.1 are not supported. It looks like the new iOS version does not assign RGF files with the regify app any more. We're currently investigating the problem. If you did not yet update your device, please wait until the issues are solved.
As soon as we have a new version, it will automatically update through the Apple iTunes store.
Open regify messages in the Gmail app
Newer versions of the Gmail app are only accepting default iOS file extensions within e-mails and you can't open the rgf-file directly. After tapping this attachment, GMail usually displays it as a text file or as regify container file. Now you can tap on the share-button on the navigation bar (upper right corner) and you can select the regify app as the application to open the regify message. If you do this, the regify message will be opened by the regify app as usual.
Sadly, we can not fix this behavior as it is done wrong by the Google GMail app. The regify extension is properly assigned to the regify app, but GMail is ignoring it. As an alternative, please consider using another e-mail program from the iTunes store or the original iPhone "Mail" program.
Open regify messages in the Web.de app
We got responses from users that the Web.de App is only accepting some default file extensions within e-mails and you can't open the rgf-file directly.
Sadly, we can not fix this behavior as it is done wrong by the Web.de app. The regify extension is properly assigned to the regify app, but Web.de is ignoring it. As an alternative, please consider using another e-mail program from the iTunes store or the original iPhone "Mail" program.
I get error 58 for regify client or regibox manager
We found in some devices that mobile data was deactivated (by accident?). To verify if this applies to you, please enter the iPhone "Settings", scroll down to enter the "regify" or "regibox" settings (depending on your product). In there, please make sure that "Mobile Data" is activated.
Alternatively, please go back to generic "Settings" and tap on "Mobile Data >". In there, scroll down and have a look if you can find "regify" or "regibox". If you can find it there, please make sure that it is enabled, too.
Debugging
Start extended debug logging
Beginning with version 2.1.0 of the regify-app for Iphone, you can get a detailed debug-log. To activate debugging you have to enter the settings menu of the Iphone. In this menu you will find an entry for the regify app. In the submenu of the regify app, you can activate the debug mode. After that, logging will be activated and a Send Log-file button will appear in login screen, fallback login screen and settings menu.
