Sometimes, you may want to use the MSI files instead of the executables provided by regify. Please follow this guide to get the MSI files from the standard executables:
regify client
Please follow these steps to get the MSI file:
- Download the standard regify client executable to a Windows machine (Windows 7 or higher).
- Run the setup until you reach the Welcome page. Any older versions would hev been removed now.
- Keep the page open and run a new file explorer.
- Enter %TEMP% into the address bar of the file explorer and press <Enter>.
- In here, locate the folder SetupTemp0 (or similar with higher number).
- Inside, you will find the MSI file named regify_client_setup.msi (Windows may hide the extension, check for type "Windows installer Package").
- Copy the MSI file to another location.
- You now may continue installation or cancel (if you do not need regify client).
Important Note
If you install the regify client by using the above MSI, you need to make sure that any previous setups of regify client and regify outlook addin are uninstalled!
